We had a great city tour of Venice with Lucia. We walked through all of the neighborhoods, the Rialto market, and the Jewish ghetto area. A visit with the puppeteer was a special treat! Knowing that we had plans for seeing the Doge's palace/St Mark's and Murano/Burano on other days, it was great to customize our plan to see these other areas with her. My favorites were the small local historical tidbits as we passed by a particular building or bridge; that's the kind of knowledge that you don't get from self-guided tours . She also brought us to a fantastic out of the way pizzeria and gave us lots of local tips for other restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Lucia was amazing. I knew from the booking process that she would make our day in Venice wonderful. She was very quick to respond to my many questions, helped book some restaurants for dinners and made the tour fun for two teen girls who are very picky. Fun facts about Venice, that I would not have noticed otherwise, paired with hidden corners and well known places - this tour was just the right mix for my first intro to Venice. Lucia was absolutely amazing! She was so informative and made sure we had a great tour of Venice. She took us to out of the way places, away from the crowds, so we could get a true feel for this beautiful city. She is a native Venetian and her love and passion for the city was so evident! We spent the whole day with her and wish she could have stayed with us for our entire 3 day stay there! Definitely well worth the money for this private tour. Lucia is a true gem!

Lucia was an amazing tour guide. We had a great time. She was able to get us onto this really pretty terrace that we didn’t even know about. She gave us lots of cool tips such as what the real gondolas look like and really gave us a locals insight into the best things to do in Venice. 10 out of 10 would recommend the tour.

Absolutely the best guide I have ever had in any country! Lucia was an amazing source of Venetian history, and more importantly, of art history. I so enjoyed our discussions on some of the amazing works we saw, and her recommendation for dinner and a gelato that evening were terrific as well. We could not have asked for a better guide for our first full day in Venice. If you have the opportunity to book a tour with her, jump on it right away as she will surely be booked by the time you check again later.
